Missionaries
Ten percent of our General Fund income goes to supporting 9 missionary families serving in the United States, Central America, Europe, and Asia, as well as to a Christian camp here in Iowa. Many people in our congregation add individual support to these missionaries, as well as other missionaries they know. Whenever our missionaries are on home assignment, we always have them update us on their ministries during the Sunday School hour in order to see what God is doing throughout His world. Most of those missionaries will also share the Word of God in our morning service.
Several of the missionaries we support were members of and impacted by our church’s ministry to them while living here. We know that God has used their time here as part of His call to them to become missionaries. We place great importance on missions work to spread the gospel globally for the glory of Christ.

Jeff Townsend – International Students, Inc.
Jeff serves as the National Director of Field Development for International Students Inc. (ISI). ISI exists to share the love of Christ and the truth about Christ with international university students and scholars. Their ultimate goal is to win, disciple and send these students back to their home countries as missionaries to their own people.
Upon returning from ministry in the Middle East, Jeff desired to continue working with internationals and a friend suggested he contact International Students, Inc. (ISI). Jeff joined ISI in the fall of 2014 as a member of the campus staff at UCCS. After a year in that role, Jeff was asked to join the ISI home office team as Director of Field Development. In that role, Jeff helps on-board all new ISI staff, training them in raising and developing support. Jeff tracks with these new staff, providing coaching and encouragement during their support development journey. I love what I do, Jeff notes, helping raise up an army of missionaries to invade college campuses across the country to win, disciple and send international students back home as missionaries to their own people.
