Eric Twietmeyer, Pastor
An avid Cubs fan, Eric hails from the SW Suburbs of Chicago. He holds an B.A. in Communications from Taylor University and an M.Div. from Moody Theological Seminary. Prior to First Free, Eric served churches in Minneapolis and the Chicago area. If he has a free day, you can catch him out biking the many biking trails around Cedar Falls or reading. He is married to Erica, a native Cedar Fallsian, and together they have 2 children, Micah and Selah. Contact: [email protected]

Dave Barnes, Elder
I serve as an Elder in this Body and am responsible for publishing the weekly prayer letter. I live in Cedar Falls, Iowa, with my wife Kathie. We have 5 adult daughters and 18 grandchildren. I am retired from the broadcasting industry.

Al Stamberg, Elder
Chairman, Fellowship Committee. Al is both a retired University of Northern Iowa administrator and a retired Naval Reserve Captain. He and his wife Judy have two sons: Jonathan, who co-pastors a bilingual church, and Jim, who is Area Director of SEND North (part of SEND International, a missions organization). Al is helping other men grow in their relationship with Christ through discipleship.

Erik Crandall, Deacon
Erik has been a self-employed Tool & Die, Special Machine Designer since 1991. He has a wonderful wife, DeeAnn, and two children, Mary and Thor, from a previous marriage.

Jim Burmeister, Deacon
Jim has served in the US Military and served for many years at the Omega Cabinetry Company. He is married and has three children.

Daniel Reynolds, Deacon
Dan holds a major is Spanish and a minor in Music Performance (Piano). He regularly serves the body and the Lord through musical contributions.
Lloyd Peterson, Treasurer
Lloyd is a retired mathematics teacher and a retired charter/tour bus driver, and currently drives school bus. He received both Bachelors and Masters degrees from Northern State University, Aberdeen, SD. He and his wife Karen have three adult children and eight grandchildren. Karen is a Sunday School teacher and pianist. For many years He has also served as the treasurer of our church. They feel very blessed to be part of a church where God’s word is believed and taught.
